PowerVision PowerEgg by Tom’s Guide Youtube review
Description: If you’re wondering what’s a drone supposed to be like, then the PowerEgg is your answer. It has a futuristic look of an egg or looks more like a football. It’s foldable and is easy to pack up. You can control the drone by using not only a remote control but also a signal controller that looks more like a Nintendo Wii remote. What’s so awesome about this drone is the fact that the drone’s bottom legs will retract automatically when it reaches a certain height. The same goes with the landing. This is important so that the legs won’t be featured on the video recording.
Pros
- Foldable
- 4K UHD camera @30 FPS
- Quite long flight time (up to 23 minutes)
- Drone’s bottom legs automatically retracted when reaches certain height
- Object Avoidance System
- 2.4GHz transmitter
- 3 axis gimbals for a steady aerial photo
- Intelligent Flight Modes: Follow Me, Orbit, Waypoints
Cons
- Pricey compared to the DJI Phantom series
- Drone’s design might look ridiculous to some people
