The Xiaomi Redmi S2 is a smartphone made by the Xiaomi smartphones company. It was released in May 2018. Out of the box you get a charging cable, adapter, user manuals, SIM eject tool, a clear case and the phone itself. The Redmi S2 is not one of Xiaomi's most powerful devices and has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The cameras on this device take amazing pictures and videos. The rear-end camera has 12 Mpx and the selfie camera has 16 Mpx. When making this phone, xiaomi focused more on the camera aspect and less on everything else. It comes packing Dual LED flashlights and the Sony IMX 486 Exmor RS sensor will allow you to take incredibly detailed and clear images as well as videos. You also have the option to shoot slow motion videos at 30 FPS. Body materials are pure Metal. The screen is an LCD IPS certified display that has bezels. Unfortunately there is no Corning Gorilla glass protection, so, be careful and try not to drop your phone.
Let's talk about the performance of this phone. It comes boasting a mediocre processing unit - the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 which is 64 bits. Has 8 cores running at 2 GHz with the Antutu score amounting to 61000 and that's not very good. The graphics unit is also mediocre - the Adreno 506. Don't expect to be playing every single game on this device. Most of the new and power-hungry games will stutter at some point if you can't adjust the settings on them.
This smartphone has a lot of newage specifications that are missing. One of them is the USB type C. The phone also doesn't have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, NFC, barometer and can't charge wirelessly. What it does have is an SD card slot, fast charging and a fast, responsive fingerprint scanner.

Description: The Redmi S2 is a mediocre smartphone that's not that great on the power-specs field. You would want this phone if you are not a heavy smartphone user and need it for daily activities and applications like Facebook, Instagram, etc... If you plan to play games on this phone don't bother looking at it. It has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It doesn't even have the newest USB type-C port. The plus side is the fast unlocking fingerprint scanner and the cameras this device possesses. 12 MPX Rear-end and 16 MPX selfie camera.
